Another of my favourite pastimes is taking photos. Almost every day I take pics of very diverse subjects, for instance, insects, plants in my home garden, and the amazing nature around me. Not always very artistic, but snapping insects is also fun.
Photos which I took for documentation purposes, I immediately upload almost as new observations on iNaturalist. With citizen science platforms anyone can provide a large amount of data for research for biodiversity protection with a small investment of time and money, so I believe it important that as many people as possible use these.
