Birds of the Azores

Back in October 2024, while I was making a set of air-dry clay birds as a Christmas gift for a little girl, I never imagined that less than two years later I would be creating them for so many children.

It’s lovely to see how something that began as a small personal project has grown into an opportunity to share creativity, curiosity and a love of nature with others.

Birds of the Azores

I’m delighted that my handmade air-dry clay birds will be featured at the World Environment Day event on June 5, organised within the 7th edition of the “Pieces of Sea and Environment” campaign.

During the activity, the children will have the chance to paint and personalise my handmade birds while learning about some of the wonderful bird species of the Azores.

It is a true privilege to see my creations become part of an educational and environmentally focused initiative.
